Today was a fun day, no good mail for me, but I got to bring the boys to see Madagascar 3. It was pretty fun, though I was surprised by a few racial comments in there.  I loved to watch my kids as they were watching the movie.

   Regarding outgoing mail, I have written a letter to one of my penpals in Japan. Her name is Akiko and she just had a baby in December.  I really enjoy writing with her. She has also sent me some beautiful Japanese stationary and some other great gifts from Japan.  I don't have any Japanese friends so I always learn new things with every letter. I'm so grateful to know her. I will mail out her letter tomorrow with a small gift for her daughter.
